After spending such a significant amount of time away from the big screen, Juhi Chawla made her long-awaited return to the entertainment industry with the online series Hush Hush, which made its premiere on Amazon Prime Video on September 22.
Chawla’s career has spanned four decades, during which she has collaborated with a large number of other actors and has witnessed the maturation and entry into the entertainment business of their offspring.
During an interview with Pinkvilla, Juhi discusses the topic of watching the star kids grow up as well as the amount of effort that they put into their jobs. It was stated by Juhi that Kiara Advani is the daughter of a friend that she had since childhood.
She also talked about Varun Dhawan, who is the son of David Dhawan, and Suhana Khan, who is the daughter of Shah Rukh Khan. She mentioned that all of the children had grown up in front of her and that it was incredible to watch them perform.
She added, “When I first shot with David Ji in Swarg, his sons were kids. Now they have all become movie stars. So it’s just wonderful to see how talented they are.”
She disclosed that none of the star children have a sense of entitlement that leads them to take things for granted just because of their status. She said, “All of them really work hard. None of them takes it lightly that I am a star kid, so I’ll just arrive on sets and things will just happen.”
In the recent film Jug Jugg Jeeyo, Varun starred opposite Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, and Neetu Singh. The film was a moderate box office success.
On the other hand, Suhana Khan is currently collaborating with Zoya Akhtar on her forthcoming movie for Netflix called The Archies. In this film, she will be appearing alongside Khushi Kapoor, who is Sridevi’s daughter, and Agastya Nanda, who is Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson.
